An extinct species of large domesticated canine that was originally bred in Stygia, these dogs were largely culled when the theocracy of Set took over Stygia and any worship associated with Ibis was outlawed. It was later by the decree of Toth Amon that these majestic and loyal dogs were hunted nearly to extinction, having long been associated with protecting the faithful in times of turmoil. Eventually they would find their way to the Kingdoms of Shem, were the breed was expanded.

The last of their kind would eventually find their way back to the lands of Stygia, Now the desert Kingdoms of the Vanir, who overthrew Stygia and gave rise to The Proto-Egyptian Empires.
